Opportunities for Individuals, Community Groups & Businesses

SEW POSITIVE SERVICES

We run a variety of services including courses, events and programmes for individuals facing social isolation – from social prescribing courses and programmes for the Ukrainian refugee community to one-off workshops. We sometimes run volunteer taster sessions for those interested in supporting our work. Some of our community sessions to promote mental wellbeing are open to all, while others are delivered in conjunction with community groups and connected charities. Services for businesses focus on employee health and mental wellbeing as part of a company’s Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) programme.

Participate, Collaborate, Volunteer, Support!

We seek to support those facing social exclusion through mental health issues, long term unemployment, health issues, poverty, experience of abuse or those who don’t have access to appropriate housing.

Partnering with organisations such as The Red Hen project, Turtle Dove, Cambridge Women’s Resources Centre and the Phoenix Trust is a key part of our work. Together we build workshops to cater for the individuals they support. In the past we have made personalised aprons, taught upcycling and mending techniques, and made Christmas decorations.
