Are you keen to mend a favourite textile item? Sew Positive is running a taster session of its popular ‘Sewcialise’ activity as part of Let’s Go Circular. This is a week-long series of events organised by Grand Arcade Cambridge to showcase some of the best circular economy initiatives from across Cambridgeshire through a programme of interactive workshops and an exhibition space.
Sew Positive’s two hour session with some of its existing participants is open to all. Bring your own mending projects to mend and sewcialise together.
Please note that this drop in session is for people facing social isolation and wanting to work towards a more circular approach to textiles and fashion. No sewing skills are required, but this is not an alterations service.
In the afternoon (2-4pm) a further Sew Positive event will take place as part of Let’s Go Circular – A Make a planter workshop
